About Me

I have always been passionate about sewing. I have obtained:

  • a 3 year seamstress apprenticeship; and
  • over 30+ years experience.

I have a variety of commercial experience from working in bridal alterations to soft furnishing. I have worked in the Swindon Health Authority, issuing and altering uniforms to members of hospital staff and repairing logos. I even managed the sewing department in my time there.

During the Coronavirus pandemic, I put my skills to use by sewing facial coverings and hanging them out locally for others to pick up, only charging what I needed for materials and the proceeds went to charities and towards donating masks to essential workers.

From buttons to bridal gowns, no alteration or repair is too small!
